Nintendo describes The Duskbloods as multiplayer action with up to eight players, and FromSoftware describes it as a PvPvE title. Players are called Bloodsworn and compete while facing challenging foes. That is the official mode frame currently available.
Does it have a single-player campaign?
No traditional solo campaign is confirmed in the Nintendo product page or FromSoftware announcement tracked here. The official descriptions do not promise an offline story mode, AI-only matches, or a permanent solo progression route. That does not prove a solo option can never exist; it means the feature is not published yet.
What does up to eight players mean?
Nintendo’s published cap is up to eight players. The official wording also refers to transient alliances and rivalries and to First Blood as the prize in the Dusk of Humanity. It does not yet publish team sizes, matchmaking rules, respawns, private-lobby options, or whether every match uses eight human players.
What did the network test confirm?
The official network-test notice describes a pre-release test for Nintendo Switch 2, requires Nintendo Switch Online for participation, and lists server-load, multiplayer, and balance testing as its goals. Test-build access should not be mistaken for a confirmed final solo mode or final progression system.
